You can book an appointment with a midwife for an initial assessment of minor gynecological concerns. Basic gynecology complements care provided by primary healthcare centers and can be a convenient first step.
You may book an appointment if you experience:
Foul-smelling discharge
Itching or burning in the genital area
Painful menstruation
A need to delay menstruation
We can also assist with replacement of an estrogen ring or examination of a prolapse ring.
The visit costs 200 SEK, in accordance with Region Skåne’s patient fees, and is included in the high-cost protection scheme.
