If you are 23 years or older, you will receive a self-sampling HPV test kit by mail.
The test kit is sent to your home in a letter. The home test checks whether you have HPV – human papillomavirus – which can cause cell changes in the cervix.
If the test shows that you have HPV, you will be invited to a follow-up sample at a midwifery clinic. If the appointment time does not suit you, it can be rescheduled via 1177.
