Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, we offer prenatal care tailored to your individual needs. Please contact us as soon as you know you are pregnant so that we can schedule your first appointment. You are welcome to contact us at any stage of your pregnancy.

Our goal is for you to feel safe and supported, and to meet the same midwife throughout your pregnancy and at your postnatal check-up.

Most women go through their pregnancy without needing to see a physician. If necessary, your midwife will arrange an appointment with our doctor or at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Skåne University Hospital (SUS Malmö/Lund).

Ultrasound examinations and any additional fetal diagnostics are performed at Emma Ultraljud or at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Skåne University Hospital (SUS Malmö/Lund).

Acupuncture during pregnancy

We offer acupuncture for pregnancy-related conditions such as nausea, pelvic girdle pain and carpal tunnel syndrome.

Acupuncture is available to you if you are registered with Barnmorskorna Malmö.

Cost

All appointments during pregnancy are free of charge.
